With double the crop waiting in the winter wings\, Higgins cannot wait\, not only to strut around onstage\, but share the bounty of the harvest.\n\nFrom the Great Northern Plains\, Little Miss Higgins struts and serenades her way onto any stage playing music brewed in early country blues\, jazz and folk. A Playing\, touring\, collaborating and recording for over 15 years\, this musician and mother now navigates her time through performing and parenthood.\n\nHer six independently released albums and artwork have received many awards and nominations\, including a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for her latest collection of songs\, MY HOME\, MY HEART (2017). Music entered her life early. “When I was about four my dad brought home an old mini-grand piano and told me it was mine. I carved my name in the side of it and then I had to start taking piano lessons.”\nHiggins now uses guitar and voice as her main instruments as well as her theatre background to bring a refreshing sound and story to the stage. Higgins settled in Saskatchewan from 2002-2013 and that’s when music took the driver’s seat. Robert is Based in Bellingham Wash.\n \nFor 15+ years Blake has presented a holiday concert in his hometown Bellingham-The City Of Subdued Excitement. \nThe songs and stories celebrate the ancient experience of gathering in the darkest days of the year to reflect on and celebrate our human condition.  \n\nRobert is a true entertainer\, deeply invested in storytelling as part of his craft. Joined up front by singer-songwriter Devon Jared on keys\, and vocalist Olivia Simpson\, breathtaking harmonies and carefully crafted songs are at the forefront of this group. He co-founded Blue Rodeo in 1984 and left in 1992 to follow a solo path that has produced thirteen albums\, more than forty film and television scores\, a 350-page book\, and a suitcase of Super 8 films he scores live on accordion\, guitar and piano. \nAlong the way he discovered and produced Ron Sexsmith\, Mimi Oz\, Kid-in-the-Hall Bruce McCulloch\, Lowest of the Low\, Bob Snider\, Kyp Harness\, Anhai\, Robert Priest\, and Jess Reimer. He has toured with Feist\, Owen Pallett and Kid-in-the-Hall Scott Thompson\, and guested with Wilco\, Edie Brickell and Eugene Chadbourne.
