SUMMARY:A Very Subdued Christmas w/Robert Sarazin Blake
DESCRIPTION:A Very Subdued Christmas w/Robert Sarazin Blake\n(it’s not really all that subdued)\n(Suitable for kids and adults of all ages)\nMonday Dec 21 Doors 5:30 Show 7:00 \nTickets $ 27.50 at Bozzini’s or call 604 792 0744 to reserve\n(No refunds – exchanges for a future show allowed up to 48 hrs prior to showtime) \nNamed after the Subdued String band Jamboree that Robert organizes every year – \nWe were so blown away by the response to Roberts shows the last THREE year that we are bringing him back for another Performance to get everybody in the spirit right before the Holidays \nEvery December since 2008 Robert Sarazin Blake has presented A Very Subdued Christmas – A concert of songs and stories that have something to do with the holiday season in. Robert is Based in Bellingham Wash.\n \nFor 15+ years Blake has presented a holiday concert in his hometown Bellingham-The City Of Subdued Excitement. \nThe songs and stories celebrate the ancient experience of gathering in the darkest days of the year to reflect on and celebrate our human condition.  \n\nRobert is a true entertainer\, deeply invested in storytelling as part of his craft. Like Arlo Guthrie and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott\, the songs and the stories blend.  Every moment he shares with the crowd underscores the importance of narrative. It’s in the way he lets the silence linger between songs\, inviting the audience into the space with him. It’s in the personal anecdotes and vivid imagery he weaves into his performances\, making each song feel like a chapter in a larger story. His connection with the crowd goes beyond music; he makes them a part of the tale\, creating a shared experience  in which every note feels intentional and every word carries weight. As Sunset in the Rearview put it\, “His ability to turn a moment into a story\, one that every audience member is a part of\, is one of the best forms of… entertainment.” \n  \n\n“Blake being a master of stage presence and completely at ease\, he was capable of bringing the crowd to a complete silence. His ability to make a story out of a moment\, a moment every audience member is a part of no less\, is the one of the best forms of concert entertainment I’ve ever experienced. ” \n— Jess\, Sunset in the Rearview

SUMMARY:On sale Nov 1 Andrew Christopher & Imaginary Band (With Andrew\, Eric & Clay)
DESCRIPTION:Andrew Christopher & Imaginary Band \nWednesday Jan 13\nThursday     Jan 14\nDoors 6:00 Show 7:30\nTickets $ 25 on sale now at Bozzini’s or call 604 792 0744 to reserve \nAndrew will be performing at Bozzini’s for 3 nights! Each evening will feature a different lineup. \nFeaturing on Wednesday & Thursday:\nAndrew Christopher (Guitar)\nEric Skonberg            (Fiddle)\nClay Thornton            (Percussion) \n The Imaginary Band is the latest project involving long time Chilliwack musician\, Andrew Christopher\, as he shifts his career back towards original music. “Andrew Christopher & The Imaginary Band” was a lonely\, solo\, acoustic album – and now the band has come to life\, with plenty of imagination. Joined up front by singer-songwriter Devon Jared on keys\, and vocalist Olivia Simpson\, breathtaking harmonies and carefully crafted songs are at the forefront of this group. Not to be outdone\, Eric Skonberg enters the mix on fiddle dazzling audiences with his accompanying melodies and solo’s that we dare you to keep up with.\nThe imaginary rhythm section keeps the beat\, whether it’s Clay and Adam on drums and bass respectively\, or if Andrew is simply bringing it to life by stomping and dancing along. You’ll hear it\, you’ll feel it. Duo\, Trio\, or full band\, all you need is a bit of imagination to let the sound surround you.\nA debut single will be released in January 2026\, with a full length album to follow. \nAs he often says\, he’s “living the dream” and values time with his wife\, 3 kids and his work as a father and husband above all else.  \nAndrew lost his daughter\, Lilee-Jean\, to cancer in 2013 at 2.5 years old. A sense of responsibility to live a good life in honour of his daughter began a change in his life that he’ll be forever grateful for. The fact that he is able to create and perform music as a career is a result of hard work\, passion\, and difficult life lessons which have molded him into the artist\, and man he is today. \nAfter a pretty serious\, but financially frustrating stint as front man in Pardon My Striptease (“Pray for LJ” #1 iTunes + top 20 99.3 “fox seeds” band) He recorded his first solo album “Gone”. His busiest year to date had him performing 274 gigs and sold over 1\,000 copies of his debut album. \nNext\, in 2020\, ‘AC’ teamed up with his close friend\, fellow beer lover\, hockey fanatic\, and family man\, Jamie Rowe. “Parliament of Owls” was a match made in heaven and was as much about family and friendship as it was songwriting. Their self-titled album has sold over 2\,000 CD’s. Yes\, Andrew is still selling Compact discs off stage as an ode to his longing for the good ol’ days\, but it can also be found everywhere music is streamed.

SUMMARY:Bob Wiseman (Blue Rodeo)
DESCRIPTION:Bob Wiseman (Blue Rodeo)\nTuesday Feb 2 2027\nTickets $ 29.50\nOn sale at Bozzini’s or call 604 792 0744 to reserve \n  \n\n\n\nBob Wiseman has spent four decades doing the thing festival audiences remember longest: making a room laugh\, then making it go quiet. He co-founded Blue Rodeo in 1984 and left in 1992 to follow a solo path that has produced thirteen albums\, more than forty film and television scores\, a 350-page book\, and a suitcase of Super 8 films he scores live on accordion\, guitar and piano. \nAlong the way he discovered and produced Ron Sexsmith\, Mimi Oz\, Kid-in-the-Hall Bruce McCulloch\, Lowest of the Low\, Bob Snider\, Kyp Harness\, Anhai\, Robert Priest\, and Jess Reimer. He has toured with Feist\, Owen Pallett and Kid-in-the-Hall Scott Thompson\, and guested with Wilco\, Edie Brickell and Eugene Chadbourne. His song “White Dress” was recorded by Serena Ryder; his themes open CBC’s Material World and Someone Knows Something. \nHe has taught courses in creative writing\, music business and songwriting at Western University’s Don Wright Faculty of Music\, Seneca Polytechnique and Toronto Metropolitan University\, and was awarded his PhD by the International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation in July 2026 — which is a formal way of saying no two of his sets have ever been the same. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat a Bob Wiseman concert feels like\nA Bob Wiseman show is a night out\, not just a set list. The audience arrives for the songs and stays for the conversation — between tunes\, between keys\, between laughter and the sudden\, absolute quiet that falls when a room realizes it is hearing something unrepeatable.
