Joined up front by singer-songwriter Devon Jared on keys\, and vocalist Olivia Simpson\, breathtaking harmonies and carefully crafted songs are at the forefront of this group. The fact that he is able to create and perform music as a career is a result of hard work\, passion\, and difficult life lessons which have molded him into the artist\, and man he is today. \nAfter a pretty serious\, but financially frustrating stint as front man in Pardon My Striptease (“Pray for LJ” #1 iTunes + top 20 99.3 “fox seeds” band) He recorded his first solo album “Gone”. His busiest year to date had him performing 274 gigs and sold over 1\,000 copies of his debut album. \nNext\, in 2020\, ‘AC’ teamed up with his close friend\, fellow beer lover\, hockey fanatic\, and family man\, Jamie Rowe. “Parliament of Owls” was a match made in heaven and was as much about family and friendship as it was songwriting. Their self-titled album has sold over 2\,000 CD’s. He co-founded Blue Rodeo in 1984 and left in 1992 to follow a solo path that has produced thirteen albums\, more than forty film and television scores\, a 350-page book\, and a suitcase of Super 8 films he scores live on accordion\, guitar and piano. \nAlong the way he discovered and produced Ron Sexsmith\, Mimi Oz\, Kid-in-the-Hall Bruce McCulloch\, Lowest of the Low\, Bob Snider\, Kyp Harness\, Anhai\, Robert Priest\, and Jess Reimer. He has toured with Feist\, Owen Pallett and Kid-in-the-Hall Scott Thompson\, and guested with Wilco\, Edie Brickell and Eugene Chadbourne. His song “White Dress” was recorded by Serena Ryder; his themes open CBC’s Material World and Someone Knows Something. \nHe has taught courses in creative writing\, music business and songwriting at Western University’s Don Wright Faculty of Music\, Seneca Polytechnique and Toronto Metropolitan University\, and was awarded his PhD by the International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation in July 2026 — which is a formal way of saying no two of his sets have ever been the same. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat a Bob Wiseman concert feels like\nA Bob Wiseman show is a night out\, not just a set list.
